So, what’s your story? I am a stay at home mom to 3 1/2 year old twins and a wife to a wonderful man of whom I have been married to for 14 years! But despite being a mom and wife, I am the type of person who also needs that one thing that is just for me and my mental well-being. Designing and selling jewelry gives me the opportunity to do something that is both rewarding and financially helpful to our family. There is nothing better than being your own boss.
How did you get started creating your artwork? I had a friend who had a necklace similar to what I make and I fell in love with it! However, it was very expensive and I knew I could not afford to pay that price, unfortunately. I had already been selling jewelry that I purchase from all over the world and thought, hmmm, maybe I could try making some! So I did some research and bought some supplies for hand stamping and I soon became addicted! I now have a large collection and am able to offer my customers beautiful designs for a much lesser price than they would pay elsewhere. I love to be able to design and make pieces that I know my customers will cherish forever!
Where does your inspiration come from? Other artists and their creativity. Also, my family, because I love this type of jewelry so much, I am always trying to come up with new designs with my kid’s and husband’s name on them so I can wear new things all of the time!
Where do you see yourself in 5 years? The mother of two 9 year olds! Wowza! And will hopefully have a business that is still thriving and continuing to grow!
Where do you sell your work? The bulk of my business is done via home shows. I have a terrific hostess program and the intimate setting works great for my personalized jewelry! I also do many craft fairs and sell online.
Who is your favorite artist? All of the awesome talented people on Etsy! AND, the Show Me Etsy street team!
What is your favorite song and by whom? Every single song on the newest Jesse McCartney album! Considering I am 37 years old, he is my definite guilty pleasure 
If you were stranded on a deserted island, with your family, what 5 things would you want to have with you? iPhone, Macintosh computer, food, pillows & blankets (and hope I can find an electrical outlet somewhere!
Why do you think people should buy handmade? Because we work hard! LOL
